The process of setting up a blog and earning money goes hand-in-hand. With all of the people that browse the internet and search through blogs everyday it's only natural that there be a way to make money using blogs. But before we get into how to make money blogging I'm going to show you how to set up a blog.

Go to Wordpress.com and click the sign-up button and complete the sign-up process. Once your finished you can start creating your blog. You'll be asked to name it and select a template to design it around.

After you've finished this process you have your blog and you can fill it with any content that you want. If you've created your blog just for entertainment purposes the process that I outlined would be all that you need to know. But if you want to make money with your blog there are a few extra steps that you need to take when creating your blog.

First, instead of just immediately starting a blog like we did earlier. You to put some thought into the content of your blog before you begin the blog setup process. And once you think up the content of your blog, you need to find a product that you can sell that applies to your content.

You can use clickbank.com to find a product to sell, or you can create your own product to sell. From a professional stand point it looks better if you have your own product to sell. People sometimes get suspicious when they see an affiliate ID.

Once you've found your product to sell, do some keyword research for it and use those keywords in your blog post. This will help search engines link people searching for those keywords to your blog.

After each blog post that you make, submit your blog post to article directories such as Ezine Articles. This will help increase your search engine ranking and give you some extra traffic.

And remember that a good blog should be updated regular. The more you update your blog the more search engines will crawl through it and re-index it for a higher search engine ranking.
